After opening the carton we recommend that you wash briefly the stem ( and leaves if still on the stem ) and mix the gel into your soil; firmly stick the plant in a pot containing 50|50 coarse sand and perlite, pouzzolane or any moisture retaining soil, ( here we use coconut bit mixes ) cover the roots with this media and moisten; then cover the entire potted plant with a transparent plastic bag to retain a high humidity a few days before moving the plant to a greenhouse. Keep the pot in a medium-light room until rooting has expanded, which is about two weeks or more. Uncover and water sparingly until new growth appears, then begin regular fertilization schedules. Do not move the plant position, do not move the pot during the re-starting period.
