In this online shop with door delivery we have selected plant types that passed survival tests after 20 days or more in cartons under stressing conditions.

Although each species has specific requirements of light, humidity and temperature, a general method to cultivate tropical plants is the use of humidifiers and individual greenhouses ( plastic domes or large transparent plastic bags..) to completely cover the entire potted plant during an acclimatization period of several days. - this individual greenhouse is closed : there is no watering as the humidity of the soil suffices. High humidity and temperature must be steady. Here is a picture taken on Aleyagarden site : how to make individual greenhouses . After a few days or when the first green shoots are visible the greenhouse can be opened and watering, then fertilizing can start.

The two links below will convince you, if need be, that tropical plants under temperate climates cannot grow without any humidifying device such as humidifier, terrarium or plastic bag.
